We got going around 8 a.m. and walked to the Empire State Building. Went to the observation decks on the 80th and 86th floors and had good views. Unfortunately, the sun made photography difficult again, espcially when trying to get photos south toward the World Trade Center.

We took a bus tour of upper Manhatten, including Central Park and Harlem. Riding in the open on top of the bus was very cold. We did most of the tour from there with temperatures in the low to mid-30s. We saw an entrance to Columbia University and buildings that have been home to many celebrities.
Following the bus tour, we walked to Grand Central Station to warm up.
From there, walked to Rockefeller Center, Times Square and Penn Station. We bought sandwiches for dinner at Penn Station and brought them to the hotel.
